Bring (your) talent to life

Feeling different can make you hide parts of yourself. Your multicultural background or disability* can start to feel like something to manage instead of a strength.

Through coaching, I help you reclaim that space, embrace your identity and use your strengths in a way that fits you.

For organisations, I support the development of inclusive environments where talent thrives and growth becomes sustainable.

*Physical, mental, intellectual or sensory challenges that, together with barriers, can limit your participation in society.

Who do Kemai Coaching support

Coaching for professionals

You’re committed to your work, but the same messages keep coming back. Be more assertive. Be more visible. Easier said than done. It can feel like promoting yourself means pretending to be someone you’re not.

In coaching, we look at what holds you back and help you build a style of self-presentation that feels natural to you: strong, true to your identity, and without feeling you’re overstepping. That’s how you create real momentum in your career.

Coaching for studenten

No matter if you have just started university or are about to graduate, this time in your life shapes how you apply your talents and plan your path forward. Through coaching, we uncover the choices that match your goals and help you take a successful step towards the world of work, supported by the unique strengths of your multicultural background and/or disability.

For organisations

You see the importance of diversity and inclusion: to attract, retain and develop talent. But how do you ensure it becomes part of your strategy, not just a side project?

Whether you’re just starting or looking to go further: I help you translate inclusion into policy and behaviour.

From intention to action. From paper to people.

Who am I

My name is Maarten. I was born with a physical disability, to a Chinese father and Dutch mother. I know what it’s like to grow up in a world that isn’t built with you in mind.

But I’ve also learned: what sets me apart is what gives me strength. It allows me to see things differently, connect people and find practical, lasting solutions.

As a D&I professional, I’ve worked with organisations like Microsoft, PwC, L’Oréal and Just Eat Takeaway, helping them turn inclusion into concrete policy and everyday practice.

With that experience I support people and organisations to move forward.
