Bring (your) talent to life

Your multicultural background or disability* is part of who you are. But how do you use that to get the very best out of your talent?

Kemai Coaching offers coaching and advice for people who want to work with that, with diversity and inclusion not as an afterthought, but as an integral part of their development. For professionals, students and organisations who want to bring that to life in practice.

*Physical, mental, intellectual or sensory challenges that, together with barriers, can limit your participation in society.

They took the leap. It changed their life.

For people that want to leverage diversity and inclusion

Coaching for professionals

You work hard, but keep getting the same feedback. That you need to be more visible and assertive, for example. But what does that actually mean? Putting yourself forward can quickly feel like showing off. How do you stay true to yourself while still showing what you’re capable of? In coaching, we explore what’s holding you back and you learn to profile yourself in your own way: firmly, in line with who you are and without guilt. So that you’re seen for who you are, not for who you should be.

Coaching for Students

You’re exploring what comes next. What kind of internship suits you? What kind of organisation do you want to work for? What direction fits your ambitions? So many choices. Doubt is part of it. In coaching, we explore which choices fit your ambitions and how you take a successful next step – not despite, but thanks to your multicultural background and/or disability.

For organisations

You see the importance of diversity and inclusion: to attract, retain and develop talent. But how do you ensure it becomes part of your strategy, not just a side project?

Whether you’re just starting or looking to go further: I help you translate inclusion into policy and behaviour.

From intention to action. From paper to people.

Who am I

My name is Maarten. I was born with a physical disability, to a Chinese father and Dutch mother. I know what it’s like to grow up in a world that isn’t built with you in mind.

But I’ve also learned: what sets me apart is what gives me strength. It allows me to see things differently, connect people and find practical, lasting solutions.

As a D&I professional, I’ve worked with organisations like Microsoft, PwC, L’Oréal and Just Eat Takeaway, helping them turn inclusion into concrete policy and everyday practice.

With that experience I support people and organisations to move forward.
